Cacao is often described as a heart opener. When we sit with her, something can soften. We become more open to sharing, listening and connecting, both with ourselves and with those around us. A simple cup can become a beautiful bridge between us.

Presence

Cacao invites us to slow down, settle into the moment and notice what is already here. The warmth of the cup, the quiet, the people around us, the feeling in our own body. When we stop rushing past the present, even ordinary moments can become a little extraordinary.

Cacao asks nothing of you, except to remember your own heart, your own magic, and the medicine within.

A Journey Of Love

My journey began with a personal love for cacao. After visiting Guatemala and experiencing its traditions firsthand, I fell in love. What started as a desire to source cacao ethically slowly grew into something more, a way of sharing connection, heart, and presence. Over time, this simple love has become a practice of honoring cacao and the ways she draws us closer to ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

Sourcing

Seed of Love is sourced ethically and directly from small-scale farmers in Guatemala, honoring the traditions of the land and the people who cultivate her. Grown within Mayan food forest communities in rich organic soil, these rare strains of cacao are tended with generations of knowledge, reverence, and care. Every block reflects a deep respect for the earth, the hands that harvest her, and the relationships woven throughout the journey from seed to cup.

Las Marias

Surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guatemala’s Caribbean lowlands, Las Marias is a cacao farm rooted in care for both people and place. Through thoughtful cultivation, regenerative practices, and the hands of local harvesters, each harvest reflects a deep respect for the land. As the farm that first introduced us to ceremonial cacao, Las Marias will always feel like home.

Caoba

Caoba grows beneath a thriving forest canopy along Guatemala’s Rio Dulce, where cacao shares space with towering hardwoods, vanilla, and abundant tropical life. Rooted in a landscape shaped by centuries of history and lovingly restored through regenerative farming, this origin offers a rich and chocolatey cup infused with the spirit of the forest.

Meaning “Between Clouds,” Entre Nubes comes from the misty mountains of Alta Verapaz, where Q’eqchi’ and Poqomchi’ farming families cultivate cacao in harmony with the land. Supported by a cooperative that uplifts thousands of families, this origin carries the spirit of community, stewardship, and generations of wisdom. A gift from the clouds.
