Las Marias is our origin story — the Divine invitation that allowed love to light our way. This farm is the initial heartbeat that expanded our love for cacao and everything She embodies into something much bigger. In Kampura, “love” is an action, and the farm reflects this through care for the land, the ecosystem, and the surrounding community. Cacao grows alongside cardamom, cinnamon, copal, palo blanco, all-spice, banana, and more, creating a biodiverse environment.
During harvest, a crew of 20 women carefully process the cacao, receiving equitable pay and support. Las Marias has been recognized by Guatemala’s National Forest Institute as Best Agroforestry Plantation and earned a Bronze Cacao of Excellence award in 2023.
